How Monthly Active Profiles are counted
- A profile counts once a month if it had an event, an identify call, or a message sent to it.
- Billable MAP = identified profiles + (anonymous-only profiles ÷ 10).
- Bots, and anonymous profiles with fewer than 2 events, are not counted.
- A profile that merges into an identified one counts once, as identified.
- The anonymous weight is capped at 5× the plan's identified MAP. Beyond the cap, events are throttled rather than billed.
- Only production workspaces are billed. Sandbox and staging usage is not billed, but still counts toward Free-plan hard stops.
Usage above your plan
On paid plans, usage above the included MAP, emails and events is billed at the rates in each plan, in arrears with the next invoice. On the Free plan, limits are hard stops and nothing is ever charged.
SMS and WhatsApp
- Paid from a prepaid wallet (minimum top-up ₹500 / $10).
- SMS: provider cost plus 25% in India (₹0.03 minimum), plus 20% elsewhere ($0.002 minimum).
- WhatsApp: Meta's rate plus ₹0.10 / $0.002 per message.
- Bring your own provider keys: free up to 20 sends per MAP, then ₹10 / $0.15 per 1k.
Free plan
3 journeys, 30-day data retention and a shared sending domain. Accounts are suspended automatically if bounce or complaint rates cross safe thresholds.
Billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance; annual prepay gets 2 months free (20% off on Scale). INR prices are for customers with an Indian GSTIN and billing address and are billed plus 18% GST; all other customers are billed in USD. You can cancel at any time.
